Reflection Letter The goal of ts assignment is to demonstrate to your instructor that you have considered the feedback you have received from others (your instructor, your peers, etc.) and that you have made a strong effort to make these changes to both your literature review and argument section drafts. You will also need to demonstrate that you understand the difference between editing and revising your papers. For example, if a reader has mentioned that your sources seem to be indicating different themes in the research than the ones you originally used to organize your literature review, you would need to revise your literature review with ts in mind. You should uses examples from your literature review and argument sections in discussing the revisions and edits you have made. Remember to develop your paragraphs the same way you would for any other writing assignment. (See Chapter 9). You should demonstrate that you have analyzed the impact these changes have made on your sections overall. How have these changes made your sections stronger, clearer, more organized, etc.? You should build a strong case for the revisions you have made to your literature review and argument sections. Your letter should be written in letter format, including a salutation and a complimentary closing. Your letter should be conversational, yet professional. Don’t forget that you are writing ts for a particular audience. It should feel and read like a letter. Don’t be too formal. Don’t use salutations like “To whom it may concern.” You will also want to avoid texting-speak and other inappropriate gestures: “Yo Teach” or “Hey you” “LOL!”. Write respectfully, but conversationally. Remember that you are writing to me. Your letter should be double spaced, Times New Roman, 12pt. font with 1 inch margins on each side. Your letter should be at least 2 pages in length. Your letter should be no longer than 5 pages. For ts assignment, you will also need to turn in a revised draft of your literature review section and your argument section. You can include these in one document, if you would like.
