1-tol, and it has a molecular weight of 88 grams per mole. We’ll call ts
one compound “B” for short.
Another skunk scent molecule is 2-quinolinemethanetol, wch has a
molecular weight of 175 grams per mole. We’ll call ts one compound
“Q” for short.
If a skunk walked by your window at night, and let out a quick little spray,
wch compound would you smell first, compound B or compound Q?
Explain your answer.
